Verity Petraits Featured on Haus-a-Rest Art Magazine

Haus-a-Rest is an online, contemporary, art magazine. It offers a space to reflect innovative art and gives artists an opportunity to share their artworks. It is run by two editors and former RCA and Glasgow School of Art Alumni, Jenna Fox and Nichola Jane.

I had the joy of studying alongside them at the University for the Creative Arts (Surrey, England), when I studied my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. I’ve always admired their boundless creativity and the edgy feminist themes in their work. I was thrilled when I found out that they wanted me to write an article for their popular magazine! The brief was to write about my journey of turning my painting hobby into a business during the Covid Pandemic.
