Here is my latest commission that I created for a dear friend of mine. Aren’t they the sweetest!

I found this commission challenging due to its unique composition and colours. I always strive to copy most of the details from a photo (that clients give me), because I realise it’s also the small details that are important to people. Unless, the background takes too much attention away from the pets in the foreground. I think I’ve just got away with it this time around!

I’ve almost finished all of my 12 portrait commissions, as I only have two left! It’s been hard graft alongside my hospital job, but I have loved every moment of it. It’s not only given me a bigger more varied portfolio, it’s also helped me to get a good sense of what it’s like to run an art business. I know for sure now that I have the determination to make it work. Thanks to everyone that is supporting me on this journey it is much appreciated!
